Opening a hole.

October 2nd, 2013 – 16:26:41 hours.

One day during the rainy-season, one of our turtles began to open a hole. It used its rear legs with its big claws to dig out the soil. The turtle used slowly one leg after the other to rasp and dig out the soil. I don´t know how long it was already working when I was aware of this action and shot this photo.
